Abstrak
PT XXX is a company that manufactures deck long on shipbuilding. Quality control is the efforts carried out by a company including the decisions taken, so that the quality of the company’s products can be maintained properly. Product quality itself must be supported by all elements of the company from top management to low management, so that a good relationship is established between policy makers and policy implementers in creating quality products. Therefore, in this research, quality control efforts will be carried out at PT XXX for one of its products, namely long deck. Quality control through the seven tools method is expected to be able to improve product quality by providing improvement ideas related to problems that cause the quality of deck long products to be defective or not in accordance with company standards.
