ABSTRACT
Lamongan Marine Industry (LMI) is a new shipyard building located in north of Lamongan. The LMI
includes a new shipyard built several years ago and has not had enough experience in terms of
occupational safety. In this case, a safety and health risk (K3) risk analysis is needed to find out what might
happen in the shipyard. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is one of the methods that can be used to
attract risks and what can be done to reduce the risks involved in the construction of new vessels in the
shipyard. So from the results of this study is expected to be used as comparisons in terms of safety and
health as well as a consideration for improving job awareness.
