ABSTRACT
Temperature controller of swallow breeding-hause prototype has been accomplished. This tool consists of
ATmega 16 microcontroller functions as the controller on the system and DHT11 censor which used to detect
temperature inside the prototype to operate the water pump as the actuator. The parameter of ideal
temperature which wanted to be controlled was 26ºC-28ºC done by water squirting method on the roof of
swallow hause prototype. To obtain the parameter of ideal temperature,the model of swallow house
prototype was made resembling the actual habitat where the swallow nested in the temperature of 26ºC-29ºC.
The tool would work when the detected temperature exceeded 28ºC wich then the water pump would
automatically turn on. On the contrary,when the temperature was unde 26ºC, the water pump would
automatically turn off. The tool aimed at substituting the process of temperature checking manually. The
testing result indicated that the temperature inside the prototype could change when the actuator of water
pump squirted water on the roof of swallow hause prototype. This tool functioned so well that could make the
temperature range appropriate. With the previous design temperature i.e 26ºC-28ºC. The cost needed to
make this tool was so cheep that it could be done by small capital owner.
